PROJECTS: Casa Hogares de San Miguel

2007, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

San Miguel de Allende, a historic town in central Mexico founded in 1542, has seen a recent influx of expatriate Americans and Canadians spuring new development and raising home prices. Many local residents still struggle to support their families. In the shadow of this town live nearly 100 children in the care of the nuns of the Sollano and Santa Julia homes for girls, and the Mexiquito home for boys.
